■Concept

With our exclusive design for Student Formula, light-weight and short-stroke shock absorber takes care of minute damper change and provides elastic suspension. Damper specification is set to produce as much road grip and traction as possible for drivability evaluation and aluminum cylinder reserve tank is adopted to get enough strokes and oil capacity.

■Feature

　・Mono-tube

Mono-tube design enables us to use a larger piston and increase oil capacity. It also has advantages on heat dissipation and damper setting. The damping force works smoothly from low speed range, which is one of the indispensable elements for competitive driving.

　・The Ti2000 spring

The coil spring is exclusive design for Student Formula Japan. In addition to the compact inner diameter of 42mm lightweight design, “strong, light and durable”, the Ti2000 down spring which includes Titanium material is used for the coilover system. Our coilover kit will prevent increasing the suspension weight which would largely influence the performance of the car and at the same time, it will contribute to enough suspension travel and flexibility of formula chassis design.

　・2-way damping force adjustment

The damping force adjustment system provides an individual setting for bump and rebound to be able to change them delicately. There is 24-level bump adjustment on reserve tank and unlimited rebound adjustment on the top. 8mm high rigid spherical bearings are used for top and bottom attachment parts.

　・Original oil

We have reconsidered viscometric property and heat change property and succeeded to develop the RS*R original blended oil for competitive use.
