Motonobu Takehira

He was born in 1947 in Aichi prefecture.

He got interested in cars when he was a student and worked for Toyota. He was engaged in developed racing car and rally car at Motor sports department. He started his own business when he was 31 and now he is running Motor sport shop Takes ltd.

His motor sport career began when he was 22, experiencing a lot of raves such as gymkhana, dirt trial and rally.

He is now popular for Japan dirt trail driver.

He also experienced rally in overseas like RAC rally, Monte Carlo rally, San Remo rally and Hong kong-Beijing rally. He is a automobile critic and write for auto magazine “Best Car”. His own writings are “Only my technique for rally”, “A lot of mistakes of 4WD technique” and “Technique for 4WD ”.

He is also a member of committee for “Japan Car Of The Year".

Hong kong-Beijing rally 1st place in private and class, 5th place in overall.
